Calling Artisans for Friday's Featured - Need a Little Coaxing?

I told you I would provide artisan profiles, and I will. I would like to feature one artisan in the soap, bath and body, and/or candle making industries every Friday. This is a great way to get exposure and to network with other professionals. Here's how it works:

You need to contact me and let me know you want to be featured by emailing me at . Place "to be featured" in the subject and include a link to your website and blog (if you have one). Describe your products or style in a sentence or two. If you would like to host a giveaway to go along with your featured profile, or provide a discount to readers, let me know that in the email as well (not required, but people like it).

I'll post a new profile every Friday featuring both estasblished and new artisans of all styles. It will include a link to the featured artisans website, blog, and social media sites (twitter, facebook, etc.), give a description of the types of products sold, and show a few photos from their site, showcasing their work. Hey, we all love pictures.

So, who is brave enough to go first? C'mon, let's meet you and see your business! Don't be shy!

Ok, maybe you need coaxing. The first person that posts a comment and sends me an email to get featured will get a free bar of handmade, natural soap.
AND anyone that comments and sends an email to get featured after the first person by Friday, August 22nd will be eligible to win a bar of the handmade soap. I'll choose 4 random winners from everyone that posts after the first person by the deadline.
To post a comment, click on the title of this article. It will lead to a new page with a comment box at the bottom of the page.

Got a specific product you want to promote, you can send it to us for a review. Just email me requesting a review submission form. Our first product review is for Get Soaked.

  2. This is such a wonderful idea. I am looking forward to the opportunity to participate. I started my company at the end of last year and am trying to learn new ways to get my company out in the public eye to grow awareness of the benefits to using all natural products. Thank you for putting this together - the blog looks great. Very inspirational for a newbie to the business.

PS I am also following you on twitter - which is how I found this blog this morning.

  3. Hi Erica, love the site here, lots of good info. I'm interested in being featured. My website is
Lately I've been attending SOWA (south end open market- Boston). Today was 100 degrees in the shade, but it was great to see die hard buyers out supporting the farmers and artisans. All the soapmakers there are supportive of each other and friends, it's a great way to network and exchange ideas and recipes.
Thanks for following me on twitter ( I am a new twit).

  4. You can feature Product Body! =) +
