Herbal Sachet Recipes - Part 2

Here are some more herbal sachet recipes you can create for yourself or to add to your bath and body business. See our previous post for more recipes.

Lavender Dryer Sachets

¼ cup dried lavender buds
Cotton fabric

Sew 3x4 sachets and fill with ¼ cups of lavender buds. Throw sachet in the dryer with laundered clothes or linens. May be reused multiple times until the lavender loses its scent. It's best to allow the lavender sachet to cool between use, so have more than one bag to alternate in the loads.

Lavender and Chamomile Sachet (drawers and closets)

¼ cup dried lavender buds
¼ cup dried chamomile
Cotton fabric, organza bags, or heat sealable tea
bags

Mix ingredients. Sew 3x4 inch sachets or use bags with 3 tbsp mixture. You can also experiment with your own combination of herbs and botanicals to make many different sachets in a variety of scents.

Sachets can be made of any breathable fabric, from rustic burlaps to elegant satins and velvets. They are easily incorporated to fit your style of products and are well received by customers or gift recipients.
