Green Tea Bath Bombs Recipe

Green Tea Bath Bombs

1 cup Citric Acid
2 cups Baking Soda
½ tsp Chamomile essential oil
½ tsp Lemon essential oil
1 tablespoon Green tea powder
¼ tsp chromium green oxide powder (optional)
Witch Hazel

Blend baking soda, and green tea powder in large mixing bowl. Add the Citric Acid and mix well. Add oxide and mix well. Add scent. Spritz the dry mixture with witch hazel (in a spray bottle) about 10 times, then immediately stir. Repeat this step until the mixture become slightly damp and holds together. Pack the mixture as tightly as possible into a mold or meatball shaper. Allow the bath bombs to dry and harden for 12-24 hours.

  1. I've tried to make bath bombs. From my experience, the number of bubbles would be reduced if the mixture is moist. I am interested in this formula, especially with the mix of green tea, lemon and chamomile. By the way, can I use green tea from tea bags?

  2. Yes, you can. Just make sure it has no other ingredients but the green tea.
