Soap Challenge Week 10 - Landscapes

I am participating in the Soap Challenge on Great Cakes Soapworks blog (see previous post).

Soap Challenge Week 10 - Landscapes

This challenge was for making landscaped soaps.  It looks like a lot of us went with sky themes.  I made my grapefruit sunrise soap.  As you can see it has a sun with the sun rays on a blue sky.  The sun was part of the pot swirling challenge a few weeks ago, so you finally get to see how that came out.

I've made this soap before, but needed to tweak a few things.  Now it has come out exactly the way I envisioned it originally, so I am quite pleased.

You can see the other challenge participants' Landscape Soaps by clicking here.
The final challenge is All Natural Soaps.  I make all natural all the time, but I have an idea for one that I have wanted to do for a long time, so I'll surprise you, next week.

  3. Wow, I don't know how you got the triangles on the sun to line up so perfectly, but I'm impressed!! The orange swirled sun and the light blue sky really set each other off. Very nice !!!!
